All our hotel bedrooms have a contemporary design with bright and colourful furniture. Each room features our beautiful ‘Tall Boy’ cupboard, and bedrooms in the main house have four-poster beds. Our Adnams Tall Boys house everything you could need from a Nespresso machine, 40” smart TV (with Apple TV in our Outstanding Rooms), a wireless speaker and other treats. You’ll find a 20cl bottle of Adnams gin on the house and a range of Temple Spa toiletries to use during your stay. Free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel.

Excellent Rooms

Our Excellent rooms are designed with style and comfort in mind, they all range in size. Beds are either kingsize or double beds with luxury goose and duck down bedding and double-sprung mattresses.

Our Fabulous rooms offer bigger rooms and beds and townhouse charm. Each room has a cosy sitting area to relax in, either armchairs with coffee table, or a sofa and armchairs. Some have views over the bustling market place.

Our Outstanding rooms are unique and utterly heavenly. They are the largest rooms in the house. They feature lobbies, lounge areas and super king beds, big window views, traditional panelling and an all round ‘feel good’ factor.

Family Quarters

Two fabulous rooms with a Kingsize bed in each, both rooms are ensuite and have interconnecting door between them. The corridor is private with no other rooms along it and has a lockable door at the end to stop the little ones escaping while the parents sleep!.

When you reserve the Family Quarters you are booking the private wing and two rooms as a whole.

Brewers House

A grand self catering house in the heart of Southwold with views of the Lighthouse and a short stroll from the beach, pier and beautiful beach huts. This house is independent to The Swan, although offers 24hr Reception to guests plus the use of the hotel restaurant and bar areas.

The large airy eat in kitchen/diner is an ideal entertaining space to get friends and family together – with French doors leading out to the private gated courtyard for al fresco dining.
