Our secret Southwold hideaway

Tucked away in a Grade II listed building, our first-floor Southwold self-catering bolthole is full of quirky coastal character. With a mysterious staircase to nowhere that now forms our games cupboard, and a big bow-fronted window, it has bags of nautical, old-world charm and interest.

From its central location in the heart of the town, you’re perfectly placed to explore the beach and beyond. And if catering for yourself ever feels too much hassle, then you have the Red Lion pub on your doorstep, a host of restaurants a few steps away, and The Lord Nelson at the other end of the lane. Could we perhaps add a link to the pubs & hotels landing page on the Adnams website?

Offering an open-plan lounge with a comfy sofa and armchair and a beautiful dining area set in the bay window, it feels cosy, yet spacious. With views over South Green to the sea in the distance, it’s a relaxing place to call home while you’re with us.

To elevate your stay, our self-catering guests can access a selection of features and benefits offered to those who stay at The Swan, including seasonal flower arrangements, a bottle of Adnams Champagne or Adnams Prosecco, an Adnams Picnic Hamper for days out, Brewery Tours or Gin Tours for the adults or Lighthouse Tours for the whole family.
