PLANNING YOUR MAGIC MOMENTS

At The Swan, we host a number of weddings and celebrations each year.

The boutique nature of the hotel lends itself to events with a more tailored, personal feel. The Swan and Southwold are a stunning background to any celebration and a fun party location too. The Adnams wine team are on hand to curate a fabulous local drinks list and our chef team are poised to create something bespoke to your tastes. We are also very lucky to have some top class partners in the town, including Lavender & Jude bridalwear and Collen & Clare.

At The Swan, we’re experienced in every step of the nuptials, from the proposal, to the pre-celebrations, the wedding itself and then the mini-moon after.

If you have an enquiry please complete our form at the bottom of the page or email our Events Manager swan.events@adnams.co.uk

THE READING ROOM

The Reading Room is on the first floor with views over Southwold’s Marketplace and out to sea. As its name suggests, this lovely room is flooded with natural light and features bookcases and some soft seating.  It’s the perfect room for informal gatherings and small wedding ceremonies, for 50 people (theatre style) or 40 people on round tables.

THE JUNIPER ROOM

The Juniper Room is just off the Still Room which is the hotel’s main restaurant. With an ante-room containing wine cabinets, it’s the ideal location for pre-dinner drinks and wine tastings. The Juniper room is classically dressed with a long dining table which seats up to 14. Perfect for intimate dinners and small parties.

Whatever your occasion, we’ll tailor a menu and drinks list to you, creating something personal and wonderfully memorable. Private dining starts from £40 per person.
